Tonight — July 3rd
Surf City is lighting up the bay beach off 17th Street from 9 to 10 p.m. Shore views, bay breeze, hard to beat.
Lacey Township kicks off at 7:30 p.m. at Lacey Township High School with fireworks at 9:15 p.m. Rain date is July 10th if the weather doesn’t cooperate.
Lakehurst goes at dusk at Lake Horicon. Simple, local, worth it.
Lakewood and Jackson both have fireworks tonight — Lakewood following the BlueClaws game at the stadium, Jackson at 9:30 p.m. at Six Flags Great Adventure.
July 4th
Beach Haven lights up the Taylor Avenue Bayfront at 9:30 p.m. Rain date July 5th.
Beachwood fires over the Toms River at 9 p.m. from Beachwood Beach. Also with a July 5th rain date.
Tuckerton goes at dusk at Lake Pohatcong. Rain date July 5th.
Seaside Heights hits the boardwalk at 9:30 p.m. Classic.
Lakewood and Jackson are both running again on the 4th as well — back-to-back nights if you can’t get enough.
New Egypt is doing something a little different — Laurita Winery hosts a “Celebrate America’s 250th” event starting at noon on both July 4th and 5th, with food trucks and fireworks.
Still Going After the 4th
Lavallette holds a fireworks and concert event July 5th at 8 p.m. at the Lavallette Gazebo and Bayfront.
Lakewood adds a drone light show July 5th at 9 p.m. at Lake Carasaljo.
Point Pleasant Beach closes out the weekend July 5th at 9:30 p.m. at Jenkinson’s Boardwalk.
Jackson brings it back July 11th with food trucks and fireworks at Johnson Memorial Park, 4 to 9 p.m.
Plumsted hosts Red, White and Boom on July 11th at 5 p.m. at New Egypt High School.
