Most rental guides cover the big stuff, permits, power, surface type. Nobody covers the smaller, slightly awkward questions people actually wonder about and rarely ask. So here’s the etiquette version.

Do You Tip the Delivery Team?

Short answer: it’s not expected, but it’s noticed. Our crews aren’t working for tips, the rental price covers delivery, setup, and breakdown in full. That said, if your driveway looked like an obstacle course and the team navigated it without complaint, a tip is a genuinely appreciated way to say thanks. There’s no required amount and no awkwardness if you don’t, this isn’t a restaurant. If you want to, twenty bucks or so per crew member for a smooth, no-drama setup is a common gesture. It’s a bonus, not a bill.

Do You Need to Be Home for Delivery?

Yes, or at least someone needs to be. We need access to the setup area, a quick walkthrough of where things go, and a signature confirming everything looks right before we leave. If you’ve got a gate code or a specific entry point, let us know ahead of time so nobody’s standing in the driveway waiting on a text back.

Can You Ask Us to Move the Unit Once It’s Set Up?

Within reason, yes, if it’s early enough in the process. Once everything’s anchored and inflated, moving it becomes a bigger job than it looks like from the outside, stakes, tie-downs, and blower placement all have to be redone. If you’re not sure about placement, speak up before the crew starts anchoring, not after.

Do the Crew Need Bathroom or Water Access?

Nobody has to offer, but on a hot setup day, it’s the kind of small gesture that’s remembered. A bottle of water on a 90-degree afternoon goes further than people expect.

What If a Neighbor Complains During Setup?

This happens more than you’d think, usually about parking or noise from equipment. It’s not something our crew can resolve, that’s between you and the neighbor, but a heads-up beforehand, especially in tighter neighborhoods, tends to head off most of it before it starts.

Is It Rude to Ask Questions During Setup?

Not at all. If something looks off, the unit seems too close to a fence, the stakes look shallow, whatever it is, say something. Our crews would rather answer a question on-site than have you worry about it after they’ve left.

None of this is complicated. Most of it comes down to communication, the same as any service that shows up at your house. A little consideration goes both ways, and it usually makes the whole day easier for everyone.
