If you’re planning a party here, chances are you’ve got more yard than most people know what to do with. That opens up options a lot of towns can’t offer, but it also means a couple of things worth knowing before you book.

The Yards Here Can Handle a Real Setup

Large, well-maintained grass lots are the norm in Ocean Township. That means you can run a bounce house, an obstacle course, and a water slide all at once without anyone feeling cramped.

This is genuinely one of the better towns in our area for a big multi-unit setup, whether that’s a milestone birthday, a graduation party, or a full-blown backyard carnival. If you’ve been holding back on going bigger because you assumed your yard couldn’t fit it, it probably can.

What to Expect for Your Lawn

Here’s the part most companies skip over. An inflatable sitting on grass for several hours is going to leave a mark, usually just flattened grass that bounces back within a day or two on a healthy lawn. That’s normal, not damage.

Where it gets more serious is multi-day events. If you’re planning a full weekend setup, Friday through Sunday, sitting in one spot that long can trap heat and moisture underneath, and the compression from an inflatable staying put for 48+ hours is a different story than a few hours on a Saturday afternoon. If you’re doing a weekend-long event, we recommend rotating the unit’s position every 12 to 24 hours to give the grass underneath a break.

Most people never have an issue, especially with the well-established, healthy lawns common around here, but it’s better to know that going in than to be surprised later.

Surface Type Isn’t Usually a Problem Here

Unlike some of the towns we work in, rock and gravel yards are rare in Ocean Township. Grass is the standard, and it’s almost always the kind of grass that can handle a setup without issue. If your property is the exception, or you’re working with a paved area instead, just mention it when you book so we can plan accordingly.
